The Masonic Minute is produced and published by Rev. Steve Schroeder PM. It is meant to be insightful and yet fun and lighthearted. It was created with three ideas in mind:
First to bring a sense of unity between the different Masonic bodies who all stand for and teach the same moral and ethical principles. Masonic teachings are designed to help the members become all that God intended them to be and to bring honor to the Masonic orders;
Second it demonstrates the relationship between Faith and Masonic teachings. Among the religious community there is an enormous amount of misunderstanding and myths regarding what Masons believe and what they stand for. Masons are taught that the Bible is to be the rule and guide of our faith and that reverence for Almighty God is of first importance. Many of the teachings come directly from the Holy Scriptures and even though the lessons are taught, not many know their origin;
Third each Masonic Minute serves as an announcement for our Sunday Night non-denominational service of The Master’s Community Church. Since June of 2008 we have met at 6:30 pm each Sunday night in the Robert Russell Eastern Star Chapel to share God’s Word, music, worship, fellowship and refreshments with those who live in the main building, the Village, as well as many Masons, Eastern Star members and Christians of every denomination. This is a community where the Love of God is put in work clothes and God’s Love is demonstrated to those in need. All are welcome! Come and let us pray with you, expect a Miracle.
